Representing the President of the Republic, Attaf participates in the meeting of the AU Committee of Ten on Security Council reform

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, participated, Saturday in Addis Ababa, as representative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the meeting of the Committee of Ten of the African Union (AU) on the reform of the Security Council, held on the sidelines of the work of the 37th ordinary session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the AU, indicates a press release from the ministry.

The meeting was "a renewed opportunity to reaffirm Algeria's commitment to contribute to efforts aimed at promoting the unified African position regarding the reform of the Security Council, particularly in its capacity as a non-permanent member of this UN body, and this in accordance with a global and integrated approach to repair the historical injustice against our African continent", underlines the press release.
